Breakfast Book Club
The Breakfast Book Club is a wonderful way to promote reading and create readers! It also helps them hone in on their discussion and presentation skills!
Breakfast Book Club meets once a month (usually the 3rd Wednesday of the month) starting in September. Breakfast will be served to enrolled students at 7:40 a.m. Discussion Groups will start at 8:00 a.m. Students Dismissed at 8:30 a.m.
WHO?
- Grades 1-5 kids who love to read! Click Here to Sign Up
WHY?
- Great books to read & keep
- Continental breakfasts
- Fun with peers as you meet with an adult facilitator to discuss books during the school year.
COST?
- $68 partially covers the cost of books and breakfasts. The rest of the cost is funded by the Cougar Ed Fund.
- $10 each for an Optional T-shirt
WHEN?
- Breakfast Book Club meets once a month (usually the 3rd Wednesday of the month). See list of dates below.
- Enrolled BBC students meet in the MPR for breakfast @ 7:40 a.m.
- Students break out (by grade level & number of volunteers) into discussion groups @ 8:00 a.m.
